About

Dr. Richard Cyriacks is an alumni of St. Peter’s Prep, as well as a Montclair State alum where he received a bachelors degree in Biology.  He graduated with honors from Palmer Chiropractic College in 1992, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree.  Shortly after graduation Dr. Cyriacks started private practice in Teaneck, NJ in 1993.

Dr. Cyriacks maintains a limited, but very high quality chiropractic practice from his home office in Teaneck.  He has deliberately chosen to follow the path of the great chiropractors of the generations before him, delivering highly personal, high quality, low volume health care.  Dr. Cyriacks uses his hands to remove subluxations and free up the body’s innate intelligence, allowing the patient to heal themselves… trusting in God’s creation.  It is admittedly a very simple approach to healthcare with a very low tech application, but it is also very effective.  However, when rehabilitation  to support the chiropractic care is needed, or medical care is required  Dr. Cyriacks has an excellent referral relationship with local Orthopedists and physical therapists, as well as other medical professionals.

For 30 years Dr. Cyriacks has treated thousands of patients ranging from newborn infants to the very aged; yet even after such long experience in practice he has not lost his excitement and love for the healing art of chiropractic.

Dr. Cyriacks is married to his wife Nicole and they have three children, Ella, Nathanael, and Luke.  He has practiced the martial art of aikido for many years and earned his black belt from Yamada Sensei in 2010.  In addition, he is also a Deacon at the Hawthorne Gospel Church in Hawthorne, NJ and is currently serving on the Elder board.

“Give.  Love.  Do.  Serve.”     James Sigafoose, D.C.

“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” Jesus Christ the King (John 13:35)
